DELTA CENTER FOR MOVEMENT RESEARCH

Movement is a language.

The Delta Center for Movement Research is Futuremade Studio's place for learning it. Every garment is another way of asking the question, refined through field testing and the observations that follow.

Delta (Δ), the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet, takes the form of a triangle, a shape already rooted in FTMD.’s identity. It is also a symbol of change, and we do believe every test changes something, and every discovery leads us somewhere new. 

For our first field study, we explored Animal Flow. A practice built around body awareness, mobility and moving through different ranges of motion. It gave us a way to observe & knowing how our body shifts, stretches, supports and responds, while studying how Delta responds alongside it. Rather than being created for one specific sport, Delta pieces are designed for every movement you take.

The research is still ongoing.
